Chicago activist of the Anti-Globalization Movement attended Day of Peace and Solidarity rally

Categories: Events,Partners

On March 13 in New York, anti-war, anti-racist and social justice activists gathered to say “NO” to continued wars of the U.S. government and demand money for human needs. According to the organizer of the event, Joe Lombardo, “endless wars abroad mean austerity and militarized police at home” (inside the United States).

Activists have raised awareness among the American civil society and called for actions to stop cunning diplomatic maneuvers of Washington which allow it to flood the world with weapons and expand the danger of war. This includes an unstoppable expansion of NATO, support for a fascist coup in Ukraine, confrontations with Russia and its allies, encirclement of China, etc. As a result, American nation suffers itself from austerity, homelessness, police terror, racism, islamophobia, which expose the intrigues of Wall Street and siphoning of billions of dollars for war.

Conscious American citizens are ready to oppose warmongering policy of the U.S. government and openly resist the pressure from the Wall Street moneymakers. They are ready to say “NO” to wars and violence, and “Yes” to peace, negotiations, freedom and international friendship. Let’s support them together!
