Today Russian anti-globalists have met with a well-known economist and political scientist Laurence Brahm who is also an advisor to the Chinese Government, a member of the UN Group on Problems of Poverty and Inequality.
\nVarious socio-political issues were discussed at the meeting, in particular, Russia\u2019s entry to the WTO, social transformation in different countries, the development of economical consensus.
\nMr. Brahm said that the Russia\u2019s joining WTO would definitely have negative influence on the country\u2019s economy and lead to recession and stagnation. He also said words of accusation of some Western countries trying to inflame conflicts in the Middle East.
