Minneapolis, MN – At a press conference September 12 in front of the Federal Courthouse in Minneapolis, several speakers demanded that U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson drop all charges against Isavela López. Isavela Lopez, who is well-known as a poet and activist in the Twin Cities, was charged with felonies that could result in up to eight years in prison for protesting the militarized federal operation on Lake Street in Minneapolis on June 3 that included Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other federal agencies. Striking Teamsters at U of MN hold mega march!

Minneapolis, MN – On Friday September 12, at 5:30 p.m., Teamsters who work at the University of Minnesota held a large rally and mega march around campus demanding higher pay and for a contract expiration date during summer. 1400 Teamsters at University of Minnesota campuses began striking this week. Between 5 p.m. and 5:30, a large crowd began to amass at Northrop Plaza on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. Students hold ‘disorientation tour’ to highlight San Jose State University complicity in genocide

San Jose, CA – On August 28, about 30 students gathered in front of the historic Smith and Carlos Statues at San Jose State University students for a “disorientation tour.” On the disorientation tour, new students were able to hear from experienced campus organizers about the university administration's complicity in the genocide against Palestine and inaction under the Trump presidency. New Orleans, LA – On Friday, September 5, members of the Queer and Trans Community Action Project held a rally outside of the Louisiana Department of Health to protest Medicaid no longer covering hormone replacement therapy (HRT). New Orleanians hit the streets to resist Trump’s National Guard threat

New Orleans, LA – On Tuesday, September 9, more than 200 people marched through downtown New Orleans to resist Trump’s threat last week to send the National Guard to the city. SJSU pro-Palestine students disrupt career fair with a silent action

San Jose, CA – On September 10, San Jose Students for a Democratic Society alongside various other SJSU students held a silent protest outside a career fair where Lockheed Martin, notorious weapons manufacturer and supporter of the Gaza genocide, had a table.
