Hundreds rally in Minneapolis for Trans Day of Visibility

Minneapolis, MN – On Friday, March 28, 200 protesters gathered outside of Walker Library to rally against escalating attacks targeting the trans community. Tallahassee, FL – The city of Tallahassee is considering the sale of Tallahassee Memorial Health after TMH’s leadership proposed restructuring its governance agreement with the city, which city staff say would give Tallahassee less oversight. New York correction officer strike endangers inmates statewide

After a 22-day strike of correction officers across New York State, prison conditions are worsening statewide. Tulane students protest book fair event, demand protection for DEI and free speech

New Orleans, LA – On Saturday March 29, during Tulane University’s three-day “Bookfest” celebration, about 20 people gathered to protest Tulane’s compliance with the racist Trump agenda. Protesters united in anger at Tulane’s attacks on free speech, its cuts to DEI programs, and its plans to renew a five-year contract with the U.S. – Israel Energy Center. Fort Worth, Texas – On March 29, a small rally of pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside the entrance of Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth Location, the site of CYBERQUEST, Lockheed’s annual programming competition held for students.
