Tallahassee, FL – On November 7, the Tallahassee Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) celebrated the 108th anniversary of the October Revolution with performances from musicians and speeches from local activists at Groovy Blue Tattoos in Tallahassee’s Railroad Square district. The October Revolution created the Soviet Union and has become a holiday still celebrated globally by socialists and revolutionary-minded people. St. Paul, MN – Palestine solidarity advocates vowed to press ahead with demands for Minnesota divestment from Israel’s crimes after the State Board of Investment (SBI) released data showing it held just one remaining Israel Bond after a series of bond sales and non-renewals. Tampa, FL – On Saturday, November 8, over 100 protesters gathered at Tampa City Hall to call for the immediate release of Mohammed Ibrahim, a 16-year-old Palestinian American from Palm Bay, Florida, who had been illegally detained by Israeli forces since February, while visiting family in the occupied West Bank.
